Another month and silence from Rotax on progress of the float issue. If only there was some way (like a blog or forum) where they could provide a little information on progress.
It has now been over two months since the inspection requirements have been out. Perhaps I have missed the updates from Rotax on the progress of fixing the float issue.
While I understand it takes some time to get new parts manufactured, It should not take much time to update the users of their products on progress (or lack thereof) of correcting the problem. I understand that the carbs are outsourced to Bing, but certainly Rotax has been in contact with them to determine progress.
Michael, I appreciate the information you obtained from Bing, perhaps the replacements are going to be out anytime. :)
Rotax doesn't have any control here this is all on Bing.
I had heard third party that they weren't shipped for the first part Feb. like Bing had hoped and since that's long gone that person said next month. Until Bing gets a handle on shipment it's any ones best guess.
