Fuel Pump pass through

I am about to install a new BCD fuel pump and my question is"I have a high wing aircraft and fuel tanks in the wings. Without a fuel pump the head is probable enough to keep the engine running but if the pump failed is there a bipass of some kind in the pump so that the fuel will still go the the carburators?"
