I have S/N 5649035 which I have owned for 10 years and has recently been run.
Can you please advise which mandatory AD's need to be done to use this engine in the UK under the LAA Permit to Fly scheme?
Many thanks,
Chris

ROTAX doesn't track Airworthiness Directives - consult your regional authority for that information...

Re: finding the Rotax engine manufacture date and model

Could someone please explain if there us a way to lookup the manufactured date if an engine online? I would like to know the manufacture date for S/N 6778760.
I am also trying to identify the Service Bulletins applicable to this serial number but when I search Service Bulletins by serial number the list include several SB's that predates my perceived date of manufacture, i.e. I suspect the engine was manufacturer around 2011 - 2012 and yet the listing for S/N 6778760 includes Service Bulletins dating back to 2002. I would have thought that Rotax would have addressed earlier issues such as those in 2002 so that the same issues don't exist in more recent models.
