Rotax 582 mod?

I just bought a Quicksilver with a Rotax 582. How can I tell if it's the "mod 99" version?

Mike,
Lots of differences. Some of the obvious differences you can see are the way the carbs are mounted, the extra recirculation hose from the the thermostat to the water pump, and most obvious, the blue cylinder head on the 99.
You can see the exterior differences in the parts catalogue. It lists the parts for the mod. 99 and the mod.90.
Click on the SUPPORT tab at the top of the page go to the 582 parts catalogue.
