I have a 912 ULS. Is there any limitation with oil temp in the yellow arc? During normal operations it stays well within the green arc. Aircraft is mounted on amphib floats and during water ops the temp creeps up to the bottom of the yellow arc. I see no limitation other that the red line at 265 degrees.
The oil temp in the yellow arc isn't an issue. Many see this especially during summer months. That is usually around 230F - 245F for most people. You may see this during climb, but it should go back to a more normal temp in cruise and should be a tempory situation. The prop pitch will have a direct cause on this if you have a little too much pitch for your particular application like a heavier and draggy amphib.
Bottom of the yellow arc is nothing.
