This problem is only on one carby. Both carbys were sent to a service centre to be serviced after it was noticed that one was leaking over night so decided to get both overhauled. New floats and levels checked.On putting back on, i had the same problem, slow leak and over flow on one carby. As far as i know the seat has never been touched I would have thought a small tool with a tip the same angle of the tip of the jet could be inserted in the hole and either given a light tap or lapped with some paste.Something must be able to be done if a new carby costs $1100.
Don't take offense to this next question.
Why are you so sure it is the needle valve metal seat? Can you actually see an issue? It would be worth sending back to Bing and have them fix a bad seat if it is bad. If it is bad they may even repair it for nothing if it is a factory defect.

Fair question Roger,I swapped needle valves from one side to the other and the problem stayed with the carby.How far do you go to verify the problem? But yes,it could be sent back to Bing but I'm surprised that this situation is so rare it seems. I thought someone would pipe up with a very easy fix. Thanks for your input.
