thanks Roger,
I adjusted the mic gain counter clockwise a 1/4 turn and received 5x5 reports with the engine running at 2200 RPM. I will try it flying later today. BTW I am located in Jacksonville FL but. was born many decades ago at Davis Monthan AFB there in Tucson. Finally got back for a visit in the early 90s and loved.
