With the tank bracket removed for repair (had a local guy weld) and the head bolts installed and torqued to specs, I removed all spark plugs and turned the engine over a few times to remove any possible coolant. None found. I nevertheless drained the coolant and reinstalled the the tank and bracket using RVT silicone around the head bolt holes and shim spacers and retorqued the bolts then refilled with system with coolant. Perfecto!!
