Are you insane? Unattended running aircraft, with only a couple of little chocks holding it. That is really, really bad but also with a child standing within striking distance?????
The engine goes to power and jumps one chock and....... Dont say it cant happen, it does, why risk it?

Sure, the plane has parking brakes on. A 2mm steel throttle wire. My soon was flying when he was 10 months and more og less lives together with me in the workshop "Helping" out. He has great respect for turning propellers and know the danger. My wife was also standing in front and watching.
But of course, I admit and realice its a bad idea, and will take even greater caution the next time. Its always nice to get a reminder.
Thanks for the input !

Thomas,
I notice that on the right side of the engine near the firewall is a radiator. Is that an oil cooler or an extra cylinder head radiator?
Bill.

Hi,
Thats an intercooler. Here you can watch the complete tranformation from 3D modeling, stress testing and construction and welding of the engine mount to the finished setup.
