electrical surge protection

Anyone ever had problems with electronics going crazy when starting the engine? EIS even recommends turning their unit off when starting. I found a two dollar cure while working on a friend's cessna, applied it to my rotax and it works like a charm. Go to:

If that doesn't address doesn't get you there, just search under electrical protection from pulses.
