New Installation Lane A Fault

I energized the Garmin G3x suite on a factory new 912IS today and have a solid Lane A fault light. The plane is a Vans RV-12IS. The harness was made and bench tested by Stein.

Any help is much appreciated.

Are you sure there is 12-Volt Power to Lane A on the HIC-A connector, Pins 1 and 7?

mass air flow sensor was not connected as the cowling was off of the plane. plugged in and magic fault gone. amateur move on my part...
