Flocker: for an experiment can you (or a avionics tech) rewire your ports?
This is the way they should be wired:
- 2 DB9 serial port (less data conflict)
- 120 ohm resistor between the CAN Hi and CAN low wires. (At the DB9 end or the wire)
- 20AWG Twisted pair is the best choice for wire. Use the shield for CAN ground.

It connected, showed both lanes green and the program tried to extract files, but could not. It just sat there and spun the wheel so to speak.I know CPS has had issues to.
Computer with Windows 7 has always worked until I used the new BUDS version. Tried at least 6 times and left it sit for more than 1 hour. I have another FD CTLSi to check next week that has always worked on this computer and with the old older BUDS so I'll see if it's the new BUDS version.
