I started my 912is for the first time and it only ran for a couple of seconds before quitting. Tried several times. Started with back up battery power and ran longer, but lane B light came on. Light went to flashing at idle at first, then stayed on after each start. The Dynon SkyView was showing a large amp draw even after running up to high rpm. Did the start and run up a few times with the same results. I didn't get exact rpm because the Dynon wasn't showing rpm or manifold pressure. Any ideas?
The momentary start switch did work on the third attempt.
I was thinking that, but don't know were to start looking at the wiring. It is a Kitfox that I wired. If the lane light works until after start, it must be at least somewhat hooked up right. Looking at the number 3 wire out of the faston connector, but it all looks good so far. Going to run it again and get some more info off the Dynon. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob
Re connected the connections from the HIC and the Faston connector and the problem seems to have fixed itself. Didn't see anything that was obviously loose, but it worked and I will try it out for a while to see if it is a permanent fix.
