Still facing the same problem as I addressed 7 years ago. Is there any reference/training, ANYTHING, anything to help interpret the dongle download?

I’ve never found anything in writing. For events I’ve worked on with BUDS, I typically end up working with Lockwood (Dean Vogel). He has the higher level s/w and avenues to engage with Rotax corporate. I wish a list of error codes would be published.
It is difficult to understand what the point is of downloading fault logs as part of a 100 hour inspection if there is no facility for examining the contents of those logs, especially given the cost of the equipment required to download what is essentially opaque data.
