Solder, Crimp or Both?

I'm close to wiring the engine control switches - Lane A, B, fuel pumps etc. I have PIDG crimp terminals for them. What do people prefer for reliability? Crimp, solder or both?

Crimp is fine, adding solder is Belts and Suspenders.

Have you looked at Positive Lock Connectors?
You can purchase 100 of them, including the housings, for under $25.

They cannot be pulled off accidentally no matter how hard you try!
Now you know what that hole is for in all those tabs!

Solder is not a good practice for small gauge aviation use.
Among other problems it can travel down the wire strands, making it brittle.
