Has anyone installed the Honeywell LLE102101 fuel level sensor as shown in the Stock Flight Systems EMU installation manual? Just wondering if anyone else was using this solution for their header tank fuel level indicator and what they thought.
just to clarify: that is a low fuel level warning sensor, not a quantity indicator.
We use it with the Skytek buzzer/warning lamp box and are very happy with it: the light comes on and you have 5 minutes of fuel at full power.
Yep, I understand it is a sensory and not a measure of quantity. I have the Skytek header tank but did not purchase the low fuel warning system they sell. I was originally going to install an M12x1 plug, but as I'm working through the harness to the EMU, and saw the option to wire the sensor directly to the unit, I thought I would see if others had done the same.
Anyway, not sure if you can set parameter alarms in the EMU for this sensor or not. Skytek's system is very nice, but I wanted to know if this was a valid alternative and save some coin.
