Re: engine miss when aux fuel pump turned off

Bill; the accumulator mesh filter being the lowest drain check point on the engine before the pumps was clean.
Correct the Rotax canister filter is after the pumps. I have been using Premium unleaded 95 RON. As for ethanol in Aust premum 95 RON MoGas I have no idea. Ethanol blended fuel is available at other pumps but I never use it.
Please there is no need to capitalise words in your reply such as “After & Before. In texting jargon that is considered as shouting.
I am posting this info as a possible help to other users: These & are my findings & observations only.

Did the staining seen in the filter have the appearance of Iron Rust?
Water in suspension can get past a Mr. Funnel Filter. I use one also.
One advantage of Ethanol Fuel is that it eliminates the water issues.
Sorry if you took offense to the capital letters.
I am well aware of the shouting reference an also find it annoying if overused.
The intent was to add special emphasis to the Before and After relationship.
I wanted to be certain that the filters identity was not overlooked.
Sometimes the details can be missed in the written sentence.
Does Italicized look less offensive? :)

I have been averaging 30 hrs on a final filter. Might be fuel contamination from airport or a question about the efficiency of the final filter?
