Sorry, I have not received a response yet, my contact is on a business trip.
Also I realize now I did not read the title of this post correctly: I assumed it was a 912ULS but now I see it is a 912iS. I will try and get some clarification as I agree it looks like an error.

No problem Rob, I also asked for an explanation to Rotax Italan dealer , but for now no answer ...we confidently await some authoritative answer

Today I received the response of the Italian Rotax dealer:
Hello Mr. Peter,
I confirm that the values of MAP reported on the operator manual is incorrect, they represent the consumption l/h and will be changed with the next revision of the manual.
From the real test you should have approximately the same values as 912ULS.

Dear Sir,
I thank you for your email below.
You are indeed right : the manifilf pressure values in the operators manual are not correct, and will be changed in the next issue as follows :
take-off power : 29 in.HG
max.continuous power : 27 in.HG
power setting 75 % : 26 in.HG
power setting 65 % : 26 in.HG
power setting 50 % : 24 in.HG

@Sylvain comparison....
At 75% Power 5000 RPM : 912 ULS = 27,2
At 75% Power 5000 RPM : 912 iS = 16,5 !!!
At 65% Power 4800 RPM : 912 ULS = 26,5
At 65% Power 4800 RPM 912 iS = 13,7...with this set up, my plane fall on the ground !
At 55% Power 4300 RPM 912 ULS= 26,3
At 50% Power 4300 RPM 912 iS = 11,1
It seems to me that the in.Hg column seems like the fuel consumption values

The values used for comparison not refer to the 912 uls but to 912 ul ( 80 hp ) B)
