Flooding carby

I've not done it but I have read about replacing the float needle seat. You tap the old seat M8 or 5/16" and use a bolt and tubular spacer to pull it out, then carefully press the new seat into the warmed up body.

Like most things related to these horrible carbs, this info comes from a vintage BMW bike forum I think.

Spent some time in the Melbourne area once, attended the Avalon air show then drove an Alfa Romeo on a Great Ocean Road trip.  Sampled the wares of the vineyards along the way.  It was about a year after the great wildfires swept the area.  Beautiful country, wonderful people, unforgettable trip.
