My apologies in advance Craig, cant help rising to the red flag -

My reading of "no detrimental effects" on the engine is just that - ie does not damage the engine itself - says nothing about the efficacy (compared with using the recommended non lead fuel) or cost effectiveness.

An observation that something doesn't have a bad effect, is not saying it has a good effect.
