With reference to the boost/auxiliary pump plumbing (parallel V series) ; I agree with your logic.
Regarding the "Magna Fuel" - speculating that plumbing, from an in line bar, will be more difficult than with the spider/star type manifold.
Whatever system you come up with, the one piece distributer will be lighter and less likely to leak, than the arrangement of fittings you put up for discussion.
