Hi all,
I installed the IgniTech modules on the inside behind the firewall (got them in less than a week).
As soon as they shipped it, I got an email from them with the software and several configuration files (.ign).
Great and quick service!
Engine runs very smooth on all RPMs and even 200 RPM less than before at 1600 RPM without vibrations.
I warm up first at 2200, then 2500 RPM though.
I connected the regulator's + wire (little white boxes) to the starter solenoid so they are already powered when I turn the ignition key to start.
They were already pre-programmed with the "Rotax 912 old rotor v105 retarded start advance.ign" file.
I installed the software on my PC and connected the modules one by one and re-programmed them.
The only thing I changed was the setting "Revolutions without ignition", I have set it to 2, on the "Bike" tab. (I read that on Le MCR 01 forum a French forum)
See attached screenshots.
I had a question and asked IgniTech:

I am using “Rotax 912 old rotor v105 retarded start advance.ign” which has 4° below 1000 RPM.
So at how many degrees will it then be with the setting “Lower advance by start (%)” of 20%?
And would it be possible to get the firing AFTER the Top Dead Center by increasing that 20% value to maybe 50%?

They answered:

Hello,
Maximal advance (first edge of pulse lobe) is 26°.
Starting advance (end edge of pulse lobe) is 4°
So that angle of pulse lobe is 22°.
Delay is 20% of lobe. So this is 22*0.2=4.4°.
So that starting advance is 0.4° after TDC.
Regards.

So I left the setting "Lower advance by start [%]" at 20%.
I found very useful information on these websites, it's all in French but you can use a translator.
