Thanks for all the advice. Roger, I thought for sure the enrichment carbs were the problem but they were not. However, I have found the idle problem but somehow caused another. The idle problem was crimped supply and return lines. On the Searey, the fuel lines run from the tank/aux pump up around the turtle deck behind the passenger, up through the pylon, down the boom tube tube to the fuel pump. The return line runs basically the same route. Where the lines passed through the baggage tray, behind the passenger, I had done too good a job in fitting around the wiring and fuel lines and they were pinched. The engine idles great now so I figure the crimped fuel return line was causing an overpressure and flooding the carbs. I cut out more clearance for these lines and it idles fine.
However, now it won't rev past 3500!! I'm waiting for the engine to cool to check the main jets. Throttles both open to full stop. Floats are 10.5mm. And I'll search on here for other ideas. It must be something I did since it was revving fine yesterday.
