34 hrs on a 2004 912 uls concerns? Looking at buying light sport with this low time engine has not flown since 2014 engine ran every 4 to 5 months. Stay away or what’s ur thoughts

    I just had a friend buy a light sport aircraft same year but with 700 hrs TT and the aircraft was priced so that the engine could be replaced with new and not loose $.

     I have a 2004 912ULS with around 1300 hours.  It is an amazing powerplant.  I can't speak to the extremely low time and what sitting around may have done to engine internals.  Ask a Rotax dealer.  Good luck.  If the engine is good and you buy the plane you will love it!
