1000hours check

in 912 / 914 Technical Questions 7 years ago
Is there spécial cares to take at this occasion? Or is it a 600h process?

    If you didn't do the gearbox at 600 hrs. then do the gearbox and do a carb overhaul if it hasn't been done. Clean the oil tank if it hasn't been done in the last few hundred hours. Do the rubber change if it hasn't been done in r last 5 years.

    Rotax Line maint. manual section 2 on Time limited parts. All rubber oil, fuel and coolant hoses, carb sockets, engine mounts, carb diaphragms, carb cross over tube rubber hoses, ect..... Look at the Line Maint. manual and that section to see all that is included in the 5 year preventive maint. time limited parts replacement.

    Remember we can't pull over to the curb and preventive maint. even though we may not want to do it is usually a lot cheaper than fixing what goes wrong because we didn't do it.
