I have a Sting RG S3 with 914 installed. We had to install a second cooler at the front of the cowling -in the direct prop airstream- in order to keep the temperatures inside the working parameters. The cooler that we installed is the smallest size that Rotax has, but it is getting more air than the other one at the side of the aircraft. My temps during cruise were 125-130 Celsius. Now it is something like 100-105.
