Carb socket o-rings

Hi all. Have any carb sockets been produced either past, or present which have an O-ring integrally installed into their structure such that no separate o-ring is required to sit inside the groove in the inlet manifold?
I understand that older inlet manifolds had no cut out for an o-ring and required a gasket behind the carb socket. By reference to the current IPC it was my understanding that the current carb sockets need to be partnered with a separate o-ring but a couple of people have recently made me question this. Any clarification would be much appreciated in case I have missed something.
