No I haven't. It looks like it may be an improvement over what I'm currently using though. With the craftsman hooks, the spring has a tendency to slip off really easily. I'm going to try the pliers method Roger suggested though as I like the fact that you can control when to let go of the spring. The hooks release based on angle which can be tricky.
