What happens when the 3 way selenoid valve on the air box (part # 874313) acts up?

you will run lean at full power. The engine may hesitate as it goes from cruise to takeoff power.
How to tell if it is working?
1-When the solenoid kicks in the EGT's should start to drop, indication a richer mixture.
1- It can be bench tested with 12 volts (pos & neg on pins with make it click. You will be able to blow through the ram air port inlet once it activates)

Thank you!!! this will help. Sounds like the bench test will be easy and can be done insitu, after I un-plumb it.
