Bill, thank you for the detailed response! I underestimated the fan draw for sure. AutoGyro has some protection to shut off certain nonessentials in the event of the system becoming over taxed, but wanted to make sure I understood the full potential draw. I'm surprised how many people do not do these calculations.
On the Cavalon, I haven't seen a giant spotlight yet, but there are more and more of them out there so just a matter of time! The Cavalon Pro (in Europe and hopefully soon in the USA) has several large camera mount options, so the external 40amp alternator comes standard.
