Oil leak

in 912 / 914 Technical Questions 9 years ago
I have a 914 Dynaero MCR4 S that has an oil leak on top of the oil can. I replaced all the oil pipes and hose clamps, new rubber O-Ring for the oil tank and tightened the tension on the expandable ring but still get oil deposits on top of the oil tank.
Can anyone please advise who had the same problem.

    Hi Mossie,

    If you have done all this my best guess would be either one of the two fittings that connect the hose to the tank aren't tight enough or the oil is coming from somewhere else. Could it be blown back from some place else?
