Manifold Pressure Gauge

This may be a stupid Question and I may very nieve. What purpose does a manifold Guage serve in a 912uls Remos g3. You cannot lean mixture and has a fixed pitch prop. What purpose does it serve?

Not a lot !
RPM tells you what you want to know with Fixed pitch, The throttle lever position tells you how much throttle you are adding. So I struggle to see what it adds that you do not already know from elsewhere.

In a 912 UL or ULS with a fixed pitch it isn't very helpful It will always be below the ambient about 1 - 1.5. The gigantic majority of 912 users fly by rpm.
Most digital instruments now days do have the map because that instrument is also used for the 914 and aircraft with inflight adjustable props.

I believe it can inform you how much power you are using.
If you consider 29 to be 100%, when you are at high altitudes even if you are at full throttle it wont be 29, so you can have an idea of how much power you are using regardless of throttle lever position.

But still, that's not reason enough to use up panel space with this gauge ;)
