    Hello Rob and Garrett.
    I did the test as described by Rob and everything moves with fingers. There is no company in Iceland who can do the hardening test on the head, so I may need to send it to the UK for testing. I do appreciate your help in this matter. If you know of anyone who has some parts for sale for this engine, I would be glad to hear from them.

    Hello Rob and Garrett.

    I wanted to thank you again for your input and advise to my problem with my Rotax 912 uls engine. Just to inform you and anyone else on the list, who might experience something like i have. I did replace the cylinder head number 3 which had clearly overheated. The proof was just when the valves were removed that the valve stem seal was toast. Everything is normal now and oil system purged after only 4 turns, and no hissing sound from the cylinder.
