Loose cylinder head retaining nut

I have a 914 with 309 hours from new. I found the number one cylinder top front retaining nut loose. The cylinder had major leakage between the head and barrel. I torqued the nut and the leakage is gone. Leak down is almost perfect as are the other three cylinders.
Has anyone run into this.

Did you have a coolant/CHT overheat?
If the CHT probe melted that confirms the overheat.

No, it never overheated. Since I retorqued it everything is fine.
