Oil leak

I have a 914T installed in an Explorer, similar to a Kit Fox. I am getting small oil deposits on my Left wheel spat and strut. Orginally thought it was coming from the oil breather pipe. Had a closer look and have small deposits infront of the lip on the cowling. Looks like it is possible coming from the exhaust. I have no oil usage between oil changes. Any ideas?

    Start the engine and then shut it off, check inside the exhaust pipe with your finger: it is oily?
    If not, you need to trace the source of the leak; remove the cowls, clean the engine and run it for a short time and look for the source. It may just be residual from your last oil change.Often you will see oil on #2 cylinder fins and valve cover; that is residual from the oil filter change (engine in tractor configuration)
