Have you ruled out a crack in the cylinder and replaced the nut and torqued the new nut? If you have a crack nothing will fix it except replacement. If it is solely a leak then a new nut and torquing it may fix it. If not you can try this.
You can try a little Loctite 5910 (Loctite 598, US equivalent) on the threads and or the nut seating surface. Remember that the torque is now not a dry torque, but needs adjustment for a wet torque. It will be less.
