Our Honeywell OIL P sending unit is acting erratically. Already checked with an external mechanical gauge and have steady solid readings. It appears we need to replace the unit, what is an acceptable replacement other than the pricey honeywell unit that seems prone to failure. We are also going to relocate the unit to the firewall.
Some owners had some issues with the Honeywell. Rotax has a newer sender out. Sounds like it's time to replace. The solid state units aren't as prone to failure as the VDO that has moving internal parts. Many have relocated to the firewall with good success.
