Fuel Pump - Pressure variation

    Fuel pump pressure , i replaced my fuel pump aged out, the new pump has higher pressure, note the new pump is in it spec.range the old pump meets the old spec. running at cruiz with the new pump it runs rich installed old pump runs fine. LEAF told me that they have to do something to most Carb's (85.00 per carb) to work correctly with the new higher pressure pump. My question is what do they do ?? and is this modification standard

    No magic here. Just make sure your floats weigh under the 7 grams per set and then make sure the float armature arms are set to the proper height. The carbs must be off and upside down to measure and check this.
