They also have Carb heaters using the Coolant from system going in and out of both carbs. No electric needed. Here is the link.

looks very nice and it fails to the open position; should be OK.
But why introduce more failure points and complication to the system when Rotax does not have a lower limit for the coolant/CHT?
Its like adding an adaptor when you don't need to... more weight and failure points are not the hallmark of aircraft design.

Yes agreed 1 more link in the system. What do you think of the carb heaters and experiences with carb icing.

I'm using this type of carb heaters. I had no problem's with this. I haven't icing incidents at winter but I always used heaters.
