914 map gauge

I am thinking about fitting a duel map gauge on my 914 to see how to two values compare knowing the fuel pressure has to be higher than the air box pressure can I get a reading for the map off the balance tube or should I tap into the air box

Greg, not easier to install an UMA N1EU07D and an associated gauge? Look at http://www.umainstruments.com/pdf/N04-118U-007P-0x0_rotaxairbox.pdf

This just works out of the box.
