Oil pressure regulator

Is it necessary to purge the oil system after opening the oil pressure regulator for inspection?

912ULS has new style plug/spring/cone.

No it isn't so long as it is to just replace the plug or parts or justbtake a look your okay.

Doug,

Not necessary to purge if you just had it out to inspect it and replaced it. If you had it out overnight or long enough to let a considerable amount of oil run out, a purge would be the safe way to go.
