Have you split the case?
I believe that is in the Overhaul manual and that's guarded like the Roswell Aliens. They don't want the public splitting the case. Distributors that split the case usually spend a week back in Austria learning how and what specific tools you'll need.
Do you have an Overhaul manual?

Yes I have split the cases and have checked the clearences with plastiguage. 1 journal has .002" clearence and 2 journals have .0015" clearence.
Robert.
Since you have split the case the only good source for this info may be a Rotax distributor. You'll need to call them. It may be limited info depending on the distributor. Maybe one that reads this forum may chime in. I do not have an overhaul manual.

Don't know if this helps any, but there are two bearing groups, "group C" and "group D"
The "C" bearing has tolerances of 1.820mm to 1.829mm thickness
The "D" bearing has tolerances of 1.830mm to 1.839mm thickness
I'm just guessing here but if you haven't spun a bearing or have no crank journal wear, You might be able to mike the bearings and see if they fall into the tolerance parameters. Don't know why they have two bearing sizes unless the "D" bearing is a one over bearing for a turned crank.
Have tried to find an overhaul manual with no success. Would gladly pay for a manual if I could find one (if anyone out there is listening).
