Hard to say. This engine is a 1992 vintage UL. I think if it were an ongoing problem, they would have caught it years ago. This engine has 400 hours on it from 2 previous owners. Something could have happened that wasn't disclosed or logged.It's the only real problem I've seen so far (past 200 hours).

I am experiencing high oil pressure too 912ULS.
How did you find the cracks in your oil pump?

Hi Doug,

Have you put a mechanical gauge on to double check the pressure? What is your pressure that is high?
