The SCAT air intake hose feeding my 912ULS is getting ratty, and I want to replace it. Following a number of serious accidents/incidents worldwide, notably one on a Skyfox in Australia, http://www.casa.gov.au/scripts/nc.dll?WCMS:OLDASSET::svPath=/fsa/2001/jul/,svFileName=42-43.pdf advisories about the non-suitability of SCAT and SCEET tubing raise some questions. What type tubing are you using if SCAT and SCEET are deemed unsuitabe due their lack of negative pressure ie collapse protection? Appreciate feedback/operators views about this and where you've sourced your tubing.
Many use CEET tubing. It won't collapse. You can get it from Aicraft Spruce. All the flight design aircraft in the US use it and many others in the experimental world.

Thanks Roger. Appreciate the feedback. I'll source some CEET. Can't imagine the pressure inside the tube could become so negative as to collapse the form as it is fed by ram air from the nacelle's leading edge.
