Oil tank crush washer nut torque

Group,

What is the correct torque for the above?

Also, some pump the oil from the tank for the oil change, while others drain from the plug.

Is one method better than the other, with the exception of being quicker?

I called the Dealer's mech and 18.5 foot pounds is what I was told.

Hi Rich,

If you can drain your tank you're better off.
