Hi, quick question - on a 912ULS when changing the oil pressure sensor, is this considered to be breaking into the oil lines thus requiring a full venting procedure or is venting not required. Same question also if changing the oil pressure relief spring/ ball/ cone parts etc.
Cheers!
Just changing the oil pressure sensor and or the oil regulation parts won't cause an issue so long as you don't sit there and let oil just drain for a long time or turn the prop. Once you unscrew the old sensor have the other one ready. Same with the oil pressure regulator parts. You will loose a few tablespoons of oil.
