The guys you can talk to are "G-pop shop" located in Arkansas used them for oil leaking. The problem turned out was a damaged oil return line to oil pump. My problem was compounded by a damaged seal on the Turbo oil sump. The damage was minor but the oil spill was a big problem. Solved with new scavange line with new oil sump. The shop that resolved the problem ended up reclocking the turbo to the return line vs. forcing the return line into the Turbo sump.
Mike,
Sorry, I should have explained:
Hatzel purchased it from Kelly Aerospace who purchased it from Garret. The type cert is the same and it still says Garret on the casting.
Honeywell is in the mix somehow but I cant remember at what point.
Rob
I am confused The oil is fed to the top of the turbo from the main oil pump then flows past the turbo bearing into a swall sump under the turbo spindle where it is drawn back up by the scavenge pump and then returned to the oil tank Were you loosing oil externally from a seal in the sump? My oil ended up in the intercooler
