Not long had one done - never thought to ask about the Dynavibe RPM reading, compared with my Dynon
Yup once you have the prop rpm then just multiply the rpm number by your gear box reduction number to derive engine rpm. I usually do an engine tach check of three points each year as a part of my prop balance, idle, 3,000, and WOT
