It is all in the Heavy Maint. manual in section 80-00-00. It is in the Support tab above and at the bottom where it says engine manuals.
You can download that manual from right on this site. I would also recommend the Line maint, Operator's, Parts and Installation manuals.
I recommend that everyone download these. The Parts manual also has many of the special torque specs on nuts and bolts. If anyone is going to work on your own Rotax 912 engine these manuals are a must. Start a three ring binder and download all the SB' and SI's, too.

Quick question for you. With the starter removed I put my finger on the intermediate gear that the starter mates with. While I had my finger on the gear, I rotated the prop.
What I noticed is the intermediate gear did not move with the prop rotation when I held it with my finger.
Again thanks for all your help. Yesterday I reinstalled the starter, checked all the wiring and still no improvement.
Then I removed the battery, took it to a local garage and had it tested. Even though it was fully charged and reading over 12 volts, it would not pass the load test.
Replaced the battery and all is well again. Now if it wasnt for Hurricane Irene, I would be flying today!
