Or install a wet line panel oil pressure gauge fed by a braided steel hose wrapped in fire sleeve (Down Sean! Down! Bad Sean! Bad!) 😀 and never worry about sending units or grounds or fabricating test wet lines or electrical anything ever again.
Hi Jim,
Bad Boy can't resist a challenge/argument.
Just for the record - I am not or ever have been, against firesleeve per say (I use it myself) - just think, except for hose's affected by to high heat, its overkill. The undoubted increased in safety, is so small, it makes me wonder why anyone going down this path would take the risk of levitating????
Your advice on the "wet line" oil pressure gauge is excellent (if you don't have a digital panel or just want a temporary install). BUT why the braided steel hose, when a perfectly satisfactory automotive "plastic" capillary hose will do the job. Be much less likly to be affected by engine vibration & movement, weigh & cost less?????. Won't mention the F stuff😈
